Spark is gaining weight quite well and his coat has greatly improved. His rain rot is cleared up and the new hair growing in as he sheds is bright and much healthier. This boy is a hoot! He has a big personality and talks ALL the time. As soon as he hears he sees one of us, he is prancing about, whinnying and nickering non-stop. We do realize he is hoping for food, or for a good brushing since he knows humans are really good at finding those hard to reach itchy places…but still…its adorable. |

Well, this sweet boy is coming along nicely! He is gaining weight nicely. He still hasn’t fully shed, winter hair lingers on his barrel, but as malnourished as he was just a few short months ago, it is not unexpected. All the body’s systems need time to recover. We will keep a close eye on his progress and do whatever we need to do to get him to his healthiest self. |
