Copper’s Page

Copper day 1 2014Copper is an Off the Track Thoroughbred with a largely unknown history. He does have a lip tattoo, but it is so faded, we have been unable to read it. If we can discern the numbers, we will be able to trace his past at lease somewhat.

Copper is an example of the untold numbers of animals who become victims of a bad economy. He was in the care of a person who loved him and took him in when he was abandoned at her farm. She did her best by him, but the economy got the better of the situation and she could no longer afford his care. Copper came with him Johnny, who had been adopted, but had to return to us, see his story here.

Copper has aggression issues and needs a special type of person with a stable, wise, established herd to help him settle. He is currently hosted with folks who know perfectly how to manage him without anyone (including Copper) getting hurt.

Thank you Scott and Niki Garrett of Towns County, GA!
