Subjcet: Whsiper Ranch Horse Rescue needs help!
Hi everyone,
I am asking for your help to spread this around.
The small equine rescue we have in Georgia is facing losing the
property where the rescued animals live due to the need of the owner to
sell it so she can try to save her own home in this difficult economy.

If you would please pass this around to every one you can think of, and
ask them to spread it as well. I would really appreciate it. Send to
anyone with with a spot in their heart for animals, it doesn't have to
be just horse folks!
Whisper Ranch has been on rented property since it began and has had to
move four times in the past 6 years as properties were sold, or lost to
foreclosures by the landlords. The saddest part currently is that we
have had to suspend taking in new rescues in part because of a lack of
funding, but also because of the uncertainty of having a place for
them. We have been able to provide for the animals we have now out of
our own pockets and with a lot of sweat and hard work. We don't mind,
it is a labor of love, but of course we need a piece of land. With so
much uncertainty in the economy, we need to secure this property once
and for all. Just moving from rented place to rented place consumes
enormous time, energy and scarce resources that are needed by the
animals.
If we spread this far and wide, maybe we can reach enough folks who
just might have a dollar or two to spare (check under your couch
cushions! ;)) If Whisper Ranch (a legal 501 c 3 non-profit) can buy
this little piece of land that the animals call home and they will not
have to relocate again, nor will we have to consider the possibility of
shutting down the rescue all together! Money that has been going to
rent will be freed up to go directly to animal care. That alone will be
a huge help, as you might imagine. If we are successful, we will post
the proof of sale on the web site so everyone will know we used their
gift honestly and honorably!
We are also at work on fundraising ideas, and we will be making some
herbal tinctures, healing salves, balms and other herbal items that you
can use on your animals and yourselves. We will sell these to help
raise the funds. Some of the herbs are wild-crafted right here at this
little farm, another reason we don't want to lose this little piece of
God's blessings! If you want to be notified when the herbals are ready,
