Whisper Ranch - Fundraising

Our friend and benefactor who owns this little farm is now trying to sell her home instead, so the farm can be spared. We are still fundraising for the farm, just in case. If she is successful and the farm will not have to be sold, then the money raised specifically for the land will go to paying the property taxes on the farm so there is no financial pressure on her by this property. Thank you all for your continued efforts and prayers.

The property where Whisper Ranch is located is being sold! We faced this possibility last year, but the owner was able to hold off and she thought she could keep it. However, economic circumstances have changed. Our current benefactor has been unbelievably generous to us for many years by making this small farm available to the rescues that call it home. But these are hard times and she finds that she must sell the farm to save her own home.

If Whisper Ranch, as a non-profit entity can purchase the land, then once and for all the rescues (and us) never have to worry if we will have this safe haven piece of property.

We have no funds. Donations and sponsors for care of the rescues have disappeard in this difficult economy. The care and feeding of the rescues is coming out of our own pockets, which are also shrinking!

We need help to raise the money to buy this small farm, so Whisper Ranch can continue to help animals in need. We are not the only animal rescue suffering in this economy, we are all experienceng drops in funding as people suffer economic hardships as well. It compounds our problem here because other rescues lack space or funding to take our animals if we are forced to shut down.

The Whisper Ranch family feels we can take care of these animals ourselves if need be, but clearly we cannot do it without the property. If enough people can spare just a dollar or two, we can do this!!

Donations for the land can be made through the Chip In below and all money is dedicated only to that purpose. Imagine! If we can reach 38,000 people who each have $5 to spare, we will have enough! We'll even be grateful if someone wahted to send a jar of pennies! We'll count them and send you a receipt! Check under your couch cushions, or in the console of your car, just a dollar, or two of loose change from enough people - imagine the possibilities! There are millions of animal lovers with big hearts in America, surely we can accomplish our goal!
